Occurrence of depression, anxiety and stress among medical students working during COVID Pandemic

Background: Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, medical students have been allotted various duties like rapid antigen testing, Sanjivani corona ghar seva (service provided by government for home quarantine people), RTPCR swab collection, and posting in wards intensive care units (ICUs). While executing duties, had a significant degree of ambiguity apprehension. The purpose this study was to determine psychological impact on performing duties.Methods: A questionnaire-based, cross-sectional observational conducted among undergraduate postgraduate tertiary teaching hospital, who were deployed duty during pandemic. google form-based questionnaire structured, encompassing demographic details, Depression, Anxiety Stress Scale-21 (DASS-21) other (additional) related questions. analysis data done using unpaired t-test chi-square test Statistical package social sciences (SPSS) version 20.0Results: In our research study, we found that occurrence depression, anxiety, stress 40.46%, 48.37%, 30.69% COVID -19 duty, respectively. Higher more severity (p<0.01) anxiety seen female pandemic.Conclusions: We observed higher while their Medical played role Therefore, measures should be taken ensure wellbeing students.
